What are the benefits of a thermal image inspection with your home inspection

Thermal imaging is an advanced, non-destructive inspection technology. With this technology, we can see beyond the spectrum of "natural light" (the light that bounces off all objects we see with the naked eye) and allows us to see the temperature variances of surfaces. We have included this technology in our inspections to provide a service very few home inspectors have yet to offer. This technology will take your Nook 'n' Cranny home inspection to the next level.

What is Infrared?

In the EM (ElectroMagnetic) light scale Below; we can see that infrared begins where visible light stops. The visible red colours graduate into the infrared spectrum, which is the infrared energy reflected from the surface of an object. We can also see that IR is nowhere near the X-ray spectrum, so IR is not like an X-ray.Hamilton infrared
